Before You Return Your Ballot
A few things worth knowing before you return your ballot.
Your ballot must actually reach Northampton County by 8 p.m. November 3. Mailing it by Election Day is not enough.
If Election Day is approaching and you still have your ballot, use an official Northampton County drop box or return it directly to the Elections Office instead of relying on mail delivery.
Your Election Day polling place is not a mail-ballot drop-off location. Use an official county drop box or the Elections Office.
Pennsylvania generally requires you to return your own mail ballot. Limited exceptions apply, including the designated-agent process for certain voters with disabilities.
But don’t mail it. Again, postmarked does not equal received. Take your completed ballot to an official Northampton County drop box or the Elections Office. Return it before the applicable location closes and no later than 8 p.m.
Bring your mail ballot and outer return envelope to your polling place and surrender them so you can vote a regular ballot there. If you no longer have them, ask a poll worker about provisional voting. Find your polling place
